EDF has extended its contract with Costain for an additional five years, valued at £75 million, to provide project controls services across eight UK nuclear power stations. This extension, part of the
Project Controls Resources Framework, will support EDF in operating its Advanced Gas-cooled Reactor fleet and preparing for the defueling and decommissioning of sites transitioning out of power generation. Costain has been involved in this framework since 2017, with previous extensions in 2021 and 2023.
