Robert L. Stocker, a long-time resident of Western Springs, Illinois, and later Vero Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 11, 2025, at the age of 98. Stocker was a prominent figure in the manufacturing industry, having joined
his family's business, the Stocker Hinge Manufacturing Company, after completing his education at Denison University. He was also a dedicated member of the First Congregational Church of Western Springs and an avid boater, actively participating in the Chicago and Ocean Reef Yacht Clubs. Stocker is survived by his wife of 69 years, Nancy, and his children, Sharon and Michael. Memorial services are scheduled to be held in Vero Beach, Florida, and Western Springs, Illinois, in early 2026.
