David Briggs, CEO of Western Cooperative Company and Sustainable Beef, along with Ronnie Green, Chancellor Emeritus of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, were honored at the Nebraska Hall of Agricultural Achievement banquet. The event recognized their
significant contributions to Nebraska's agricultural sector. Briggs has led WESTCO since 2000, expanding its operations and workforce, and played a key role in developing a major beef processing facility. Green, an internationally recognized animal scientist, has contributed to advancements in agricultural research and education. The banquet also inducted 12 new members who have impacted Nebraska agriculture through leadership and innovation.
