Robert G. Myers, a long-time resident of Wilmette, Illinois, passed away peacefully at a nursing home in Glenview on June 15, 2026, at the age of 93. Born in Denison, Texas, Myers was a prominent figure in the business community, having spent the majority
of his career at R.R. Donnelley & Sons in Chicago. He retired as Group President of the Magazine Division in 1990. Myers was also an alumnus of Iowa State University and a Sloan Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he earned his MBA. He was married to Karyl Yates for 62 years until her passing in 2016. Myers is survived by his children and grandchildren, and a memorial service is scheduled for July 10 at the Kenilworth Union Church.
