What's Happening?
The LNG carrier Elisa Halcyon has been delivered to EDF LNG Shipping SAS, following its construction by Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries in Korea. The vessel, chartered for up to 20 years, will be managed
by Gazocean and is equipped with advanced technology to enhance efficiency and reduce environmental impact. It features a dual-fuel engine capable of using fuel oil and boil-off gas, a 174,000-cubic-meter cargo tank with superior insulation, and an Air Liquide re-liquefaction system to convert surplus boil-off gas back into liquid form.
