Starting with the fall 2026 admission cycle, SJSU's partnerships with Gilroy Unified and Morgan Hill school districts guarantee admission to San Jose State for graduating seniors who meet the California State University (CSU) minimum eligibility requirements as first-time, first-year students. Early results indicate positive momentum, with applications from Gilroy increasing by 19% and Morgan Hill by 6.4% for fall 2026.
