Julie Lambert, RJE has been appointed as the Director of Congregational Strategy for the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ). In this role, Lambert will lead a team dedicated to connecting congregations with essential resources, knowledge, and individuals
to strengthen their operations. Lambert brings over a decade of experience with the URJ, having previously worked in roles focused on congregational innovation and growth. Before joining the URJ, she spent 12 years at the Center for the Advancement for Jewish Education as Director of Strategic Initiatives and Professional Learning. Her professional career began as the Director of Education at Temple Judea in Coral Gables, FL. Lambert, in partnership with Rabbi Nicole Auerbach, Assistant Vice President, Congregations and Communities, is actively involved in organizing the upcoming URJ Biennial experience, designed to foster learning, connection, and a sense of community among congregational leaders. The URJ emphasizes that congregations are central to its mission and the broader Reform Movement, serving as crucial hubs for Jewish life, community building, and learning.
