What's Happening?
Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is offering free summer bootcamps for high school juniors and seniors interested in healthcare careers. These bootcamps will be held at HSHS hospitals in Springfield, Decatur, and Effingham, providing students with
hands-on experience and insights into various healthcare roles. The initiative aims to connect students with professionals in the field, offering job shadowing opportunities and skills sessions. Applications for the bootcamps are open until May 2, with selected students being notified by May 14. The program is supported by the HSHS St. John’s Foundation, the HSHS St. Mary’s Foundation, and the HSHS St. Anthony’s Foundation.
