Earl Martin, a 69-year-old bicyclist from Mifflinburg, was involved in a serious accident in Union County. Martin was riding on Pleasant Grove Road when he was struck by a vehicle driven by Christie Leach. The collision resulted in Martin sustaining serious injuries,
leading to his airlift to Geisinger for medical treatment. State police have charged Leach with driving at an unsafe speed. Martin is currently reported to be in fair condition according to a nursing supervisor at Geisinger.
