The OpenLogi project is developing a native, local-first software alternative to Logitech Options+ for controlling Logitech mice, keyboards, and webcams. Written in Rust, OpenLogi aims to provide users with full control over their Logitech peripherals
without requiring an account or telemetry, addressing privacy and control concerns associated with proprietary software. The application supports various Logitech devices connected via Logi Bolt, Unifying receivers, Bluetooth, or wired connections. Key features include button remapping, per-application profile overlays, DPI control, SmartShift wheel configuration for mice, global F-key remapping for keyboards, and comprehensive image controls for UVC webcams. OpenLogi is designed to run on macOS, Linux, and Windows, with Linux being a first-class platform. The project emphasizes a plain-text configuration file (TOML) for easy synchronization across machines and offers a command-line interface alongside its graphical user interface.
