What's Happening?
The Kosmos Innovation Center (KIC), in collaboration with the Mastercard Foundation, hosted the grand finale of the KIC School Farm Awards 2025 in Kumasi, Ghana. The event celebrated young agricultural
leaders from over 629 schools across Ghana, recognizing their innovation and leadership in transforming school plots into agri-business ventures. The awards aim to make agriculture appealing to young people by integrating practical farming into education, supported by the Ghana Education Service and the Ministry of Education. The competition emphasizes sustainability and commercial viability, with awards given for innovation, sustainable farming, and agribusiness strategy.

The KIC School Farm Awards highlight the importance of engaging youth in agriculture, a sector crucial for Ghana's food security and economic growth.
