Lift Aircraft, a Texas-based startup, is showcasing its Hexa 2 personal electric vertical-takeoff-and-landing (eVTOL) aircraft at the Dubai Airshow. The company has formed a strategic partnership with
Abu Dhabi-based Multi Level Group (MLG) and its Advanced Mobility Hub, aiming to accelerate sales in the region. The Hexa 2, designed to comply with FAA Part 103 regulations for ultralight aircraft, features updated flight control computers, an improved powertrain, and structural enhancements. Despite plans to participate in the flying display, the vehicle remains on static display due to last-minute permission denial. The Hexa 2 is equipped with 18 propellers and offers a baseline endurance of 15 minutes, with an extended range version providing up to 30 minutes of flight time.
