What's Happening?
Columbus is commemorating Martin Luther King Jr. Day with a series of events aimed at celebrating the civil rights leader's legacy. The day includes the 6th Annual MLK March through the Linden neighborhood, starting at North Columbus Preparatory Academy
and concluding at the Point of Pride Corner. Keynote speaker Brian Winston will address participants. Additionally, the Ohio History Center is hosting the Seeds of Caring service, where children can engage in community service activities such as assembling cleaning kits and making breakfast kits for those in need. The City of Columbus is also organizing a march beginning at St. Paul AME Church and ending at the Lincoln Theatre, followed by a commemorative program.
