Elliott Nott, a former music teacher at Chicago Public Schools, has been sentenced to five years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for exposing himself to at least three young girls. The incidents occurred in the West Ridge neighborhood, with
Nott exposing himself to a 10-year-old girl in September 2024 and to a 7-year-old and a 9-year-old girl at different locations. Nott was initially charged in October 2024, and nearly two years later, he received his sentence. In addition to his prison term, Nott must register as a sex offender for ten years. He will receive credit for the 638 days he has already served. At the time of his sentencing, Nott faced four other cases related to sexual exploitation of a child, but these were dropped by the state.
