Tulane University has received a four-year, $6 million grant from the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Accelerating Research Translation (ART) program. This grant is one of only nine such awards nationwide and is designed to transform academic research
into tangible public benefits. The funding will support SMART (Success Model to Advance Research Translation) Tulane, a university-wide initiative aimed at moving faculty and student discoveries from laboratories into new technologies, licensed products, startup companies, and high-wage careers within the Gulf South region.
