Kazakhstan has completed a critical phase of the Trans-Caspian Fiber Optic Cable project, marking a significant milestone in establishing a high-speed digital corridor between Asia and Europe. The undersea cable, laid along the Caspian Sea floor, connects
Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, providing an alternative international data transmission route. This project, implemented by Kazakhtelecom and AzerTelecom International, aims to improve connectivity, strengthen network resilience, and expand the countries' roles in Eurasian digital transit. The project is financed entirely by participating telecommunications operators, without state budget funding.
