7-Eleven Inc. has announced the return of its Operation Chill program for the 31st year, aimed at promoting positive interactions between police and youth. The initiative allows law enforcement officers to reward children with a free Slurpee drink coupon
for good deeds or positive behavior, such as wearing a helmet while biking or helping a neighbor. This year, nearly 740,000 coupons will be distributed to over 1,300 law enforcement agencies across the U.S. Since its inception in 1995, the program has distributed over 24 million coupons. Treasa Bowers, 7-Eleven's executive vice president, emphasized the program's role in fostering trust and strengthening community relationships.
