MetTel has initiated a comprehensive modernization of the General Services Administration's (GSA) network and voice infrastructure under a $230 million task order from the Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions
(EIS) vehicle. This project aims to improve operational efficiency, security, and connectivity across 800 sites globally, including remote locations in the U.S. MetTel is employing advanced technologies such as SD-WAN, zero trust architecture, and low earth orbit satellites to facilitate federal employees' work in geographically dispersed environments.
