Nio Inc, a prominent Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, has successfully delivered its 60,000th third-generation ES8 SUV. This achievement comes just two weeks after the company reached the 50,000th
unit milestone. The announcement was made by Yang Bo, head of user operations at Nio, via Weibo, highlighting the delivery in Guangzhou. The ES8, a three-row electric SUV available in six-seat and seven-seat configurations, is one of Nio's most expensive models, starting at RMB 406,800 ($58,520) including the battery pack. The vehicle has been a significant contributor to Nio's sales, with 22,258 units delivered in December alone, accounting for 46.24% of the company's total deliveries for that month. Nio's delivery figures for January are expected to be announced soon.
