The Philippine passport has improved its standing in the Henley Passport Index, moving up three spots to a joint 72nd place, marking its best position since 2014. This improvement allows Philippine passport holders visa-free access to 65 countries. The index,
which ranks passports based on the number of destinations their holders can access without a visa, highlighted the Philippines' progress from its lowest rank of 83rd in 2021. The index also noted that Singapore remains the top-ranked passport, offering visa-free access to 192 countries. The United States, once a leader in the index, has fallen to 10th place, with access to 180 countries.
