a 'compact dynamometer', allows officers to measure the top speed of e-bikes and e-scooters without the need for a full test track. This technology helps police identify and confiscate e-bikes that exceed legal speed limits without pedaling, which require a driving license and insurance. Since the introduction of this device, 34 e-bikes have been seized, and 24 riders are facing court proceedings for lacking the necessary license or insurance.
