The Skaftafell Visitor Centre, part of Vatnajökull National Park in Iceland, has recorded over 140,000 visitors so far in 2025. Assistant park ranger Linda Björk Hallgrímsdóttir reported that 34,000 guests have stayed at the campsite since January, and 400 people have participated in educational hikes organized by the staff.
