Ronald W. Eberly, a resident of Sugar Grove, Illinois, passed away at the age of 82 on July 8, 2026. Eberly was a veteran of the United States Army and worked as an ironworker in the Aurora Local 393 until his retirement. He was married to Diane Clauss
for over 50 years until her passing in 2020. Eberly was known for his love of family, often attending his grandchildren's events and enjoying drives in his 2004 Corvette. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and siblings. A funeral service is scheduled for July 11, 2026, at Nelson Funeral Home in Yorkville, Illinois, with interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
