Minor Hotels has announced the development of a new Anantara property in Ushuaia, Argentina, scheduled to open in early 2028. The Anantara Ushuaia Patagonia Resort will be located in Ushuaia, the southernmost
city in the world, where the Andes Mountains meet the Beagle Channel. The resort will be part of the Costa Susana master plan, near Tierra del Fuego National Park, featuring 60 guest rooms and suites, a spa and wellness center, dining options, and meeting facilities. Notably, the project is Argentina's first carbon-neutral real estate development and has been nominated in the World Architecture Festival's Landscape and Environment category. The hotel management agreement is with Fideicomiso Urbanización Monte Susana, an Argentine development group experienced in real estate projects in the region.
