What's Happening?
Scuba Schools International (SSI) has initiated a 'Diver Stress & Rescue Contest' across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. The contest challenges SSI Training Centers and Professionals to certify the highest number of SSI Diver Stress & Rescue students
between now and October 31, 2026. The primary objective is to increase the number of divers trained to identify stress, prevent potential problems, and confidently respond to underwater emergencies. The SSI Professional who achieves the most qualifying certifications will receive an Aqualung i330R Dive Computer. Similarly, the Training Center with the highest number of certifications will be awarded SSI Pro rash guards for its entire staff. Additionally, every diver who earns a new SSI Diver Stress & Rescue certification between September 1 and October 31 is automatically entered into a random drawing for an Aqualung i330R Dive Computer. SSI, established in 1970, is a global training agency with over 3,300 Training Centers and Resorts in more than 130 countries.

Following the conclusion of the contest, SSI will announce the winning professional and training center, and the random drawing for certified divers will take place.
