The Washington Capitals and Nationals have announced a collaborative specialty jersey to celebrate their shared connection to Washington, D.C. This initiative marks the Nationals' 20th anniversary season and the Capitals' 50th anniversary. The jersey features design elements from both teams, including the Nationals' 2005 home uniform font and logos from both teams.
