Raising Star Africa, a non-governmental organization, hosted its annual sporting event, 'Sport Fest,' in Lagos, Nigeria, as part of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The event, themed 'Let's Play,' took place at the Abalti Stadium and
included participation from 10 public inclusive schools. Over 300 individuals, including 240 children and young people with disabilities such as the deaf, blind, physically challenged, and neuro-divergent, engaged in various sports activities. The event concluded with Independent House winning the overall competition, while Ability House and Pacelli Schools were recognized for their achievements among students with intellectual and visual impairments, respectively.
