Pocatello is preparing for its 5th annual Historic Home Tour this Saturday, an event organized by Neighborworks Pocatello. The tour will feature nine historic homes, with the exception of the University House, all being showcased for the first time. In
addition to the home tours, the event will include talks from four local historians, vintage cars displayed at the homes, and the option to ride the Historic Downtown Pocatello trolley. Catherine McCarthy, director of community engagement and marketing for Neighborworks, highlighted that the funds raised from ticket sales directly support Pocatello’s six core neighborhood associations. These associations have been instrumental in various community improvements, such as enhancing city parks and organizing local events like 'Movies in the Park.' Tickets for the event are priced at $20 and can be purchased online or in person. The day's activities will commence at 10 a.m. at Caldwell Park, with the 'Historic Home Talks' scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. under the Neighborworks Pavilion.
