Lyten, a leader in lithium-sulfur batteries and energy storage, has completed the acquisition of Northvolt Dwa, a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) manufacturing facility located in Gdańsk, Poland. This facility, which spans 25,000 square meters,
is the largest of its kind in Europe and was initially opened in 2023. The acquisition allows Lyten to immediately restart production and product development, with plans to begin sales before the end of 2025. The facility is equipped to ramp up to 6 GWh of energy storage manufacturing capacity, with potential expansion to 12 GWh.
