What's Happening?
Hodaya Cohen, an 11th-grade student from Haran School, emerged as the winner of Israel's World Tanach Quiz for Youth 2026. The event, part of Israel's 78th Independence Day celebrations, was held at the Jerusalem Theater and included participants from seven
countries. The quiz, organized by the Education Ministry and other Jewish organizations, aims to deepen the connection of young people to Jewish heritage and values. Akiva Schreier from the United States secured second place. The event was attended by prominent figures such as Education Minister Yoav Kisch and Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana.
