IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced that Holiday Inn Express Singapore Clarke Quay is the first hotel in Asia to join its Low Carbon Pioneer hotel program. This initiative is part of IHG's global effort

The Singapore Hotel Association and the Singapore Tourism Board have launched the Hotel Sustainability Roadmap, aiming for 60% of hotels to achieve internationally recognized sustainability certification by 2025 and for the industry to reach net-zero emissions by 2050.
