What's Happening?
Carl Sandburg College has recognized two of its alumni, Brittany Clark and Victor Dantas, for their post-graduate achievements. Brittany Clark, a 2009 graduate, received the Distinguished Alumnus Award. She completed her associate degrees at Sandburg before
earning a bachelor's degree in business from Indiana Wesleyan University. Clark currently owns Snap Fitness in Sherman and serves as the statewide recruitment manager for Illinois. Victor Dantas, a 2018 graduate and first-generation college student from Brazil, was honored with the Pacesetter Award. He graduated with an associate in arts from Sandburg and later obtained a bachelor's degree in supply chain management from Western Illinois University. Dantas co-owns Clear Profits Digital Marketing in Monmouth. Both Clark and Dantas are nominees for the Illinois Community College Association's Distinguished Alumnus and Pacesetter awards, with winners to be announced at an upcoming banquet.
