What's Happening?
The Young Diplomats of Canada (YDC) is inviting applications for its 2027 United Nations delegations, focusing on two major events: the 71st Commission on the Status of Women (CSW71) and the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF
2027). These delegations offer young people the opportunity to engage with global policy discussions on gender equality, sustainable development, and the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The CSW71 will take place from March 8-19, 2027, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, focusing on accelerating gender equality. The HLPF 2027, scheduled for July 2027, will review progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals. The application deadline is September 4, 2026.
