What's Happening?
The Ellis Library & Reference Center in Monroe is set to host two community events aimed at fostering creativity and engagement. On November 1, the Youth Maker’s Mart will feature over 30 young artists
and crafters from kindergarten to 12th grade, showcasing their handmade creations. Participants will retain all proceeds from their sales. The following day, November 2, the Writers on the River event will bring together more than 50 regional authors from Monroe, Toledo, and Detroit, including approximately 30 new authors. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the authors, purchase personalized copies of their books, and participate in prize drawings, which include a Kindle e-Reader and gift cards from local businesses.
