Minor Hotels has announced a joint venture with SUNRISE Resorts & Cruises to develop up to 50 hotels in Egypt over the next decade. The agreement, signed in the presence of Egypt's Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Sherif Fathi, aims to expand Minor Hotels' presence in both urban centers and leisure destinations across Egypt. Planned locations include West Cairo, Azha Ras El Hekma on the North Coast, and Azha Ain Al Sokhna. The venture will also introduce Minor Hotels' luxury brand, Anantara Hotels & Resorts, and extend its expertise to Nile cruise operations in Aswan and Luxor.
