What's Happening?
The IDF Atidim Directorate has launched a new engineering track aimed at integrating haredi (ultra-Orthodox) and minority students into Israel's technological and military sectors. The program, part of the Pa’amei Atidim initiative, allows students to earn
practical engineering diplomas at Ariel University before enlisting in the IDF. Participants will join core technological units within the Military Intelligence Directorate and have the opportunity to complete full engineering degrees during their service. This initiative is designed to open new educational and career pathways for communities that have traditionally been underrepresented in these fields.
