What's Happening?
Nine hospitals within the Intermountain Health system have been named to Modern Healthcare's 2026 100 Top Hospitals list. This recognition is based on a national quality analysis conducted by Premier, Inc. Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah,
was highlighted as one of the nation's top teaching hospitals, the only one in Utah to receive this distinction. Other hospitals in the system, such as Intermountain St. George Regional, McKay-Dee, and Utah Valley, were recognized in the Large Community Hospital category. Additionally, Intermountain Logan Regional Hospital was acknowledged in the Medium Community Hospital category. Intermountain Layton Hospital led the Small Community Hospital list, joined by American Fork, Alta View, and Riverton hospitals. Furthermore, St. George Regional, Utah Valley, and Layton hospitals received the Everest Award for top performance and improvement over time.
