Suzanne Stare Ellis, a long-time resident of Aurora, Illinois, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on March 21, 1935, she was a graduate of Madonna High School and spent 29 years working in administration for the West Aurora School District
129. Suzanne was deeply involved in her community, particularly through her lifelong membership at Holy Angels Church, where she served in various capacities including as a Eucharistic Minister and Bereavement Minister. She was also active in several organizations such as The St. Anne’s Society and the PEO Sisterhood Chapter BT. Suzanne is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and is remembered for her social nature and love for gardening and hosting gatherings.
