Researchers at UW-Stout are investigating the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in education and business, focusing on responsible and ethical usage. Assistant Professor Cami Banger is leading research on generative AI (GenAI) and its implementation
in higher education and business technology. The study, titled 'Reimagining Assignment Design: An Exploratory Study of AI-Assisted TILT Implementation,' examines how AI can be used to enhance the Transparency in Learning and Teaching (TILT) framework. Banger also teaches a course on AI Implementation Strategy, helping students design AI strategies for organizational frameworks. The research aims to leverage AI tools responsibly, addressing misconceptions about AI's capabilities and emphasizing the need for effective usage.
