The Shore Regional High School football team showcased a powerful performance in their season opener against New Egypt, winning 42-14. Despite losing several key players from last season, the team benefited from the return of four starting offensive linemen. This experienced line facilitated 319 rushing yards and six touchdowns. Junior running back Cole Torres was a standout, rushing for 130 yards and four touchdowns. Junior quarterback Logan Clark also made a strong debut, completing 8-of-15 passes for 77 yards and rushing for 39 yards and a touchdown. The team's defense, led by senior John Mazzacco, limited New Egypt to 180 yards from scrimmage.
