PT Archi Indonesia (ARCI), a prominent gold and silver mining company, has significantly expanded its business into the geothermal energy sector, resulting in a dramatic increase in its share value by 424 percent. ARCI has formed a joint venture with
PT Ormat Geothermal Indonesia, named PT Toka Tindung Geothermal (TTG), where Ormat holds 95 percent of the shares and ARCI holds 5 percent. TTG has established approximately 190 geothermal power plants with a total capacity of 3,400 Megawatts (MW). Recently, TTG received a Geothermal Permit for a project in Bitung, North Sulawesi, targeting a capacity of 40 MW. This expansion has led to a significant rise in ARCI's market capitalization, reaching Rp32.29 trillion (US$1.9 billion). The company has also reported a net profit of US$70.47 million through September 2025, reversing a loss from the previous year.
