Daimler Truck has concluded a series of rigorous tests on its GenH2 prototype fuel cell trucks in the Swiss Alps. The testing involved high-temperature and high-altitude conditions, with the trucks enduring 35 Celsius heat and altitudes up to 2,478 meters. Over several weeks, the trucks covered more than 10,000 kilometers and climbed 146,000 meters, successfully validating their cooling and thermal management systems under real-world conditions. This testing is part of Daimler's efforts to advance hydrogen fuel cell technology as a viable alternative for long-haul trucking.
