What's Happening?
Nine hospitals within the Intermountain Health system have been named to Modern Healthcare’s 2026 100 Top Hospitals list, following a national quality analysis conducted by Premier, Inc. Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah, was recognized as one
of the nation’s top teaching hospitals, while other hospitals in the system were ranked among the top in various community hospital categories. Intermountain St. George Regional, McKay-Dee, and Utah Valley hospitals were acknowledged in the Large Community Hospital category, with Logan Regional Hospital in the Medium Community Hospital category. Layton Hospital topped the Small Community Hospital list, joined by American Fork, Alta View, and Riverton hospitals. Additionally, St. George Regional, Utah Valley, and Layton hospitals received the Everest Award for top performance and improvement over time. This recognition highlights Intermountain Health's commitment to delivering high-quality care and improving community health.
