Developed by The Virtual Tour Experts, a Sidmouth-based company specializing in 360° digital experiences, the project was completed in collaboration with Exeter Airport’s Passengers with Reduced Mobility (PRM) Consultative Committee. The virtual tour aims to support passengers with additional needs, such as those experiencing anxiety, mobility challenges, or sensory sensitivities. Features include British Sign Language integration, sensory-friendly soundscapes, and an 'autopilot' navigation option. The platform also offers practical features like booking parking, browsing duty-free shopping, and accessing executive lounges.
