including the jalapeño-flavored variety, following a consumer complaint. The U.S. Food & Drug Administration has been informed of the recall, which applies to products sold in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas since January 15. Consumers are advised to check for a 'Guaranteed Fresh' date of April 21 and specific manufacturing codes on the packaging. Frito-Lay has stated that the product is safe for those without a dairy allergy or sensitivity.
