Jacqueline Salamanca, a graduate of Nandua High School, has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship by the Eastern Shore Christian Businessmen’s Association (ESCBA). The scholarship, presented at the Eastern Shore Yacht & Country Club, recognizes Salamanca's

She ranked 12th in her class with a 4.05 GPA and plans to attend Batten University to pursue a pre-med degree, aspiring to become a cardiovascular surgeon.
