Thales Alenia Space has announced the assembly of its team for the Argonaut lunar lander project, following its initial contract with the European Space Agency (ESA). The team includes various international
branches of Thales and other strategic partners like OHB System AG and Nammo. The Argonaut mission aims to deliver a lunar descent module capable of carrying up to 1500 kg of cargo to the lunar surface. The project is part of ESA's broader lunar exploration efforts, with a launch expected by the end of 2030.
