The Maryland Public Service Commission has temporarily suspended BGE's proposed tariff revisions for an initial 180 days, starting August 1, to thoroughly review the request. BGE stated that the filing aims to support the maintenance of its electric system while attempting to limit the financial impact on customers. The proposal also includes a 'FlexPay' program, which would allow eligible customers to pre-pay for their anticipated energy usage.
