Lee L. Strouse, a respected business owner and dedicated community servant, passed away peacefully at his home on January 3, 2026, at the age of 91. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Strouse spent much of his life in Oakbrook and Elmhurst, Illinois. He was a graduate
of Hanover College, where he earned a degree in economics and political science. Strouse was known for his entrepreneurial spirit, having founded and operated Wordcraft, a marketing and public relations agency in Chicago, for over 40 years. His commitment to service extended beyond his business endeavors; he was a Rotarian for 35 years, serving as president for two chapters, and an ordained Deacon in the Presbyterian Church. Strouse is survived by his wife, Roberta Lee Strouse, and other family members. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for March 7, 2026, at Green Acres Cemetery in Scottsdale, Arizona.
