A deadly overnight crash in Buffalo resulted in the deaths of two teenagers and serious injuries to three others. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. on Thursday at Jefferson Avenue and George Street. The vehicle involved had been reported stolen from
the Town of Amherst on August 30. West Seneca Police officers were pursuing the stolen vehicle when the crash took place. Four occupants were transported to Erie County Medical Center (ECMC), and one to Golisano Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. A 16-year-old female and an 18-year-old male later died at ECMC, while the other three occupants remain in serious condition. The Buffalo Police Department will be collaborating with the Office of the New York State Attorney General to investigate the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident, in accordance with New York State Executive Law Section 70-b.
